Keep the servers running

Everything that decides a war is free: the tutorial, practice against bots, 3D skirmishes, joining any match and hosting one online match at a time. What’s on this page helps pay for the servers. None of it changes how the game plays.

Payments aren’t switched on yet. You can look around; nothing here can be bought until they are, and the free game works exactly the same either way.

Cosmetics

Looks, nothing more

One-off purchases, A$3 each, yours to keep. A map theme only changes your own screen. Camo is seen by your opponents in 3D battles and never makes units harder to spot.

Promises

What we never sell

  • Anything that helps you win. No units, income, research, better dice or stronger bots for money. Commander’s extras are about hosting, not fighting.
  • Loot boxes. You see what you’re buying and you get exactly that.
  • Ads. There are none, and the site loads nothing from ad or tracking networks.
  • Your data. We keep what sign-in and purchases need (your email and what you own). It isn’t shared or sold.

The fine print, in plain words

Cancelling and refunds

  • Cancel in one click. Your account page has a Manage billing button that opens the billing page; cancel there. No email, no questions.
  • Refunds within 14 days. Changed your mind about a payment? Reply to the receipt email within 14 days and you’ll get the money back. A refunded cosmetic leaves your account.
  • Codes. Discount codes go in the box on the payment page. Codes from giveaways, playtests and streams go in Redeem a code on your account page.
  • Who handles your card. Payments go through Stripe’s hosted checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers, and this site loads no payment scripts.
